Update from the Committee

Firstly, we hope everyone is well and staying safe as we enter the third month of temporary closure of the Pearey House Centre. Be reassured that although the Centre is not open to the public, there is still a lot going on behind the scenes to ensure compliance with latest advice from Public Health England.

We understand that is a challenging time for all staff, volunteers, residents and people who use our service.

We are actively exploring options to ensure the sustainability and future of the centre.

We await government guidance as to when and how we can resume activity in the Day Centre as social distancing will remain in place for the foreseeable future.

We will update this site regularly to keep you informed of any developments.

Safe Activities

Although our day centre has remained closed. we have tried our best to keep our residents entertained during the pandemic, with some safe outdoor activities.

Please see some quotes from our residents and picture gallery below.

" The staff have made us feel so safe, I really couldn't ask for any better help"

" I can't give a word to express how marvellous the staff have been. Helen and Steven have gone above and beyond for us. No matter what we ask for, they are there. Trisha's meals have been superb"

"The staff have been really supportive and helped me feel less isolated. The outdoor activities and Stevens music sessions have been a lifeline"

Work Starts on Conservatory

We are happy to announce that work has now started to reinstate the original conservatory to Pearey House.

Thank you to anyone that has made donations towards the cost.

We are very excited, but would like to advise visitors that our car park is very busy and to take care.
